EDC provides
complete permit processing services for construction projects located along
Florida's oceanfront. EDC has extensive experience in working with
the Florida Department
of Environmental Protection (FDEP) in acquiring Coastal Construction
Control Line (CCCL) and Marine Turtle Lighting permits.
EDC utilizes
the same numerical modeling and methodology as performed by the State (FDEP)
in establishing the extent of the 100-year storm erosion and wave crest
elevation at specific sites, thus offering consistency with the State's
evaluation.
Services
can additionally be extended to include the coastal engineering aspects
of the structural design of habitable structures subject to a 100-year
storm event, such as wave impact forces on shearwalls, piles, and slabs
