EDC has also developed an expertise in marine structural design of marine dock facilities, coastal protective structures, and wave abatement designs related to waterfront development. 
 

Knowledge of near-shore processes including tides, wave transformation and wave forces, and corrosive effects of seawater enable EDC to economically design marine structures to perform effectively for the life of the project.

Elsewhere, EDC has developed a reputation for knowledge of design constraints in Miami’s densely populated urban coastal waterfront and works closely with other professionals and Government officials in land redevelopment of waterfront property.

Drainage, water and sewer design compliments the requirements of the FDEP Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) permitting programs and allows for quick building permit approvals from state and local jurisdiction.
